James wants City to hold onto Pearce

David James has admitted it would be a “huge blow” to Manchester City if manager Stuart Pearce was poached to be the next England coach.

Pearce’s name this week appeared on a reported three-man shortlist to succeed Sven-Goran Eriksson after this summer’s World Cup.
