Ireland to learn opponents for Euro 2008 qualifiers today

Ireland will learn their opponents for the Euro 2008 qualifiers when the draw for the preliminary stages of the competition is made in Switzerland later today.

Fifty countries are due to divided into seven groups, with the top two teams from each section going through to the finals of the competition.
