Hearts agree Hackett fee

Hearts have agreed a fee of £20,000 for Oxford United winger Chris Hackett.

The 22-year-old will travel to Edinburgh this evening for a medical in the hope of completing his move to the Tynecastle outfit, according to Oxford’s official website, www.oufc.co.uk.

Hackett had also been linked with city rivals Hibernian but the switch to Hearts will allow him to again join forces with former United boss Graham Rix.
