Gunners hoping for Walcott verdict in next 24 hours

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger hopes to have a decision on his bid to sign Theo Walcott from Southampton “in the next 24 hours”.

The Gunners are understood to have tabled a formal offer for the sought-after Saints striker, in a deal which could be worth £12.5m (€18.1m).
