Dundee Utd accept Celtic bid

Dundee United have confirmed they have accepted a bid from Celtic for Mark Wilson.

The Parkhead club are reported to have offered around £500,000 (€729,258) for the highly-rated defender.

Wilson, 21, passed a medical at Ross Hall hospital, in Glasgow, this morning and is expected to complete his move to the Bank of Scotland Premier League leaders shortly.

“We have agreed the fee with Celtic and Mark passed his medical this morning,” said Dundee United chairman Eddie Thompson.
