Charlton manager Alan Curbishley hopes to bring in a couple of new faces this week – but insists Danny Murphy is staying put and will not be used as a makeweight to bring Lee Bowyer back to The Valley.

Murphy has been reported to be attracting interest from Newcastle, who could well allow Bowyer to leave this month if the right deal can be struck.
