Petrov set for Celtic return

Stilian Petrov looks set to bolster the Celtic side for the Bank of Scotland Premier League game with Kilmarnock.

The Bulgarian international midfielder missed the humiliating Tennent’s Scottish Cup exit to Clyde with a hamstring injury but he has returned to training this week.

Manager Gordon Strachan is likely to make more changes, especially in defence, with Adam Virgo pushing to replace Du Wei after coming on in his place at Broadwood last week.

Defender Bobo Balde is away on international duty with Guinea in the African Nations Cup.
