Parry: Reds honours oversight is 'staggering'

Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry has branded the British government’s failure to recognise the club’s Champions League heroics in the New Year’s honours list as “little short of staggering”.

England’s Ashes-winning cricket team were all honoured but Liverpool, who fought back from 3-0 down against AC Milan to win the final in Istanbul last May in dramatic fashion, were overlooked.
