Djetou leaves Wanderers

Bolton have released former France midfielder Martin Djetou.

The ex-Fulham player moved to the Reebok Stadium as a free agent on a short-term deal in October but made only five appearances, three of them as a substitute.

Ironically, Djetou was all set for an appearance in Bolton’s FA Cup third-round tie at Watford today as manager Sam Allardyce was considering whether to offer him a new deal.
