Chadwick to join Potters
Stoke have agreed a permanent £100,000 (€146,000) deal for on-loan West Ham winger Luke Chadwick.
The 25-year-old has impressed during his six months at the Britannia Stadium, and Johan Boskamp’s Potters have fought off competition from Watford for his signature.
Following a medical, former Manchester United man Chadwick will sign a deal until the summer of 2008, with an option for another year.
Director of football John Rudge said: “We are very pleased to get Luke signed.
“He is a player I brought to the club at the start of the season, and Johan Boskamp wanted to sign him permanently.
“Luke has a good background and excellent pedigree; he played for Manchester United in the Premiership and also in the Champions League and he has been a very good player for us this season.”
