Wembley chiefs are sticking to their guns in the face of fresh reports casting doubt over whether the national stadium will be ready in time for this year’s FA Cup final.

Wembley chiefs are sticking to their guns in the face of fresh reports casting doubt over whether the national stadium will be ready in time for this year’s FA Cup final.

The latest issue is over the main pedestrian walkway to the stadium but Wembley officials say work began on that part of the project yesterday and will be finished in 13 weeks – just in time for the proposed March 31 handover by builders Multiplex.
