King out for Spurs
Tottenham coach Martin Jol will again be without England defender Ledley King for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership trip to Manchester City.
Centre-half King, who sustained a groin injury in victory over Birmingham, is not expected to return for another two weeks.
Anthony Gardner will continue to deputise for King, while Jol will also be without winger Andy Reid. The former Nottingham Forest player is sidelined with knee ligament damage.
Striker Mido, scorer of one of the goals in Spurs’ win over Newcastle on New Year’s Eve, plays his penultimate game for the club before joining-up with Egypt for their African Nations Cup campaign.
Provisional squad: Robinson, Cerny, Stalteri, Lee, Dawson, Gardner, Tainio, Davids, Carrick, Jenas, Mendes, Brown, Defoe, Keane, Mido, Rasiak, Lennon, Routledge, Naybet, Pamarot.
