Robson: Kanu wait for my striker?

West Brom manager Bryan Robson will hold talks with the Nigerian FA later this week in the hope of persuading them to allow Kanu to delay his departure for the African Nations Cup.

Robson was unsuccessful in his attempt to keep hold of midfielder Diomansy Kamara who departed the Hawthorns today to link up with Senegal.
