Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez did not see the incident in which Steven Gerrard was accused of stamping on Kevin Nolan.

The Bolton midfielder was left with stud marks on his chest after the pair clashed in the 30th minute of a feisty Barclays Premiership encounter yesterday.
