Agathe looks for Leeds switch
Leeds manager Kevin Blackwell has confirmed his interest in bringing out-of-favour Celtic midfielder Didier Agathe to Elland Road.
The Frenchman looks to have no future at Celtic Park with manager Gordo Strachan having told him to “look elsewhere” after failing to hold down a regular starting spot this season.
The 30-year-old, who has made just four appearances, is also interesting Middlesbrough.
“Didier Agathe is one name we’re trying to bring in and I’m not going to deny it,” he told the Daily Record.
Agathe is eager to revive his career and Strachan has admitted the former Montpellier man has expressed a desire to move to the west Yorkshire club.
“Didier has been asked to go to Leeds on loan for the rest of the season,” he said.
