Clapham to have x-ray on knee problem

Birmingham defender Jamie Clapham is to have an x-ray to determine the extent of the knee problem suffered during last night’s draw with Manchester United.

But Blues manager Steve Bruce is pessimistic about the defender’s chances of being fit to face Chelsea on Saturday and admitted: “It is not looking very clever.”
