Curbishley ready to ring the changes
Charlton manager Alan Curbishley could again make several changes to his out-of-form side against Arsenal on Boxing Day.
Fit-again attacking midfielder Jason Euell played for the reserves on Monday night and may be brought back into the first-team squad, while Jonatan Johansson and Kevin Lisbie staked their claim for a recall with the goals in the 3-0 win at Norwich.
Midfielder Matt Holland, winger Dennis Rommedahl, centre-backs Gonzalo Sorondo and Talal El Karkouri are also in contention, along with striker Jay Bothroyd following his recent health scare.
Provisional squad: Kiely, Young, Powell, Perry, Hreidarsson, Ambrose, Kishishev, Smertin, Murphy, Thomas, Bent, Myhre, Rommedahl, Spector, Hughes, Bartlett, Bothroyd, Euell, Johansson, Lisbie, Holland, Sorondo, El Karkouri, Andersen.
