Vlaar looks set for Spurs

The Dutch connection at Tottenham could be enough for the north London club to clinch the signing of defender Ron Vlaar.

Spurs have agreed a fee with Vlaar’s club AZ Alkmaar, with the 20-year-old now set to discuss personal terms with the Barclays Premiership side.
