Wales play host to Paraguay

England’s World Cup opponents Paraguay are to play Wales in a friendly on Wednesday, March 1.

The match will take place at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff as part of Paraguay’s World Cup build-up.

They take on England, Sweden and Trinidad and Tobago in Group B in Germany.

Trinidad and Tobago had earlier announced a friendly against Wales to be played in London on the same date but appear to have been overlooked by the Welsh in favour of a friendly against Paraguay on home soil.
