City to release Hussein

Qatar midfielder Yasser Hussein will leave Manchester City at the end of the month.

Manager Stuart Pearce has confirmed he will not be offering Hussein an extension to the short-term deal he signed in the summer.

But Pearce told the club’s official website, www.mcfc.co.uk: “He’d prefer to stay in this country and anything we can do to help him we will.”
