Aston Villa striker Kevin Phillips is rated doubtful for Saturday’s Premiership clash at Bolton after picking up an ankle injury in training.

Aston Villa striker Kevin Phillips is rated doubtful for Saturday’s Premiership clash at Bolton after picking up an ankle injury in training.

The former Southampton player has undergone a scan to determine the extent of the damage but he is facing an uphill battle to be ready for the trip to the Reebok Stadium.
