Valente pushing for return

Everton could have Portuguese defender Nuno Valente back in their squad for Sunday’s Premiership clash with Newcastle.

The 31-year-old has missed the last four games with a hamstring injury but has been in training all week and could return at left-back to allow Phil Neville to return to his midfield role.
