Tresson on target for Bray
Finn Harps 2 Bray Wanderers 4
Colm Tresson scored twice as Bray finished with a win against relegated Harps. Despite fielding a much weakened side, Bray ran up a 2-0 lead within half an hour.
Veteran Tresson put them in front on eight minutes when volleying home from close range following David Tyrrell’s corner.
A double howler by Harps' keeper Gavin Cullen gifted Bray their second on 31 minutes. Wayne Byrne initially charge down Cullen’s clearance before being fouled on the end line by Cullen. Byrne, on his full league debut, slotted home the spot kick.
Conor Gethins got Harps back into it four minutes from half-time, slipping the ball home from Kevin McHugh’s cross. But Tresson headed Bray’s third on 47 minutes with Stephen Fox sealing the points ten minutes later.
Michael Funston added a second for Harps within a minute.
