MacMillan backs support for McLeish

John Macmillan, secretary of the Rangers Supporters’ Clubs, believes it would have been a disaster for the club to throw a new manager into the most crucial matches of the season.

Speculation had intensified over the future of Alex McLeish after Rangers slipped 12 points behind Celtic and Hearts in the Bank of Scotland Premier League, before exiting the CIS Insurance Cup at the hands of Celtic last week.
