Shels back in Dillon signing race
Shelbourne are back in the race to sign Republic of Ireland Under 21 ace Sean Dillon from Longford Town.
Dillon is out of contract at the end of the season but as he is still under 23, Shelbourne would have to pay a fee for the star defender.
Dillon has been offered a new contract by Longford though as yet he has not signed the new deal which has alerted Shelbourne.
Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon admitted that he believes he needs a utility player in defence having been badly hit last season.
At present, Curtis Fleming fills in that role though the former Republic of Ireland star is out of contract at Tolka Park and could return to England.
