Rea happy with Waterford's good form

Waterford United manager Brendan Rea has admitted that the Blues recent good form means that he would now be disappointed if Waterford were forced into the relegation play-offs.

10 points from a possible 15 have seen the Blues turn from relegation certainties into survival experts.

Rea said: "A few weeks ago, we certainly would have taken it but everyone has pulled together and we've worked hard and are now in a position where we aren't relying on anyone else.

"I said all along that the players were good enough and our results are now proving it."
