Waterford United manager Brendan Rea has admitted that the Blues recent good form means that he would now be disappointed if Waterford were forced into the relegation play-offs.

Waterford United manager Brendan Rea has admitted that the Blues recent good form means that he would now be disappointed if Waterford were forced into the relegation play-offs.

10 points from a possible 15 have seen the Blues turn from relegation certainties into survival experts.

Rea said: "A few weeks ago, we certainly would have taken it but everyone has pulled together and we've worked hard and are now in a position where we aren't relying on anyone else.

"I said all along that the players were good enough and our results are now proving it."
