Hearts’ new chairman and acting chief executive Roman Romanov today asked fans for patience after a turbulent 10 days at Tynecastle.

Romanov, son of majority shareholder Vladimir, was installed in his twin role yesterday after previous chief executive Phil Anderton was sacked and chairman George Foulkes resigned in protest.
