Kieran Richardson has signed a new four-year deal with Manchester United.

Richardson, 21 today, has been rewarded for an amazing six-month spell which saw him loaned to West Brom before becoming an England international and then breaking into Sir Alex Ferguson’s first-team squad.

“I am happy to commit my future to Manchester United,” he told www.manutd.com “It is the club where I want to be and I could not imagine being anywhere else.”
