City still watching Malbranque

Manchester City boss Stuart Pearce was at Charlton to watch one-time transfer target Steed Malbranque turn out for Fulham last night – but the odds remain against the Frenchman moving north.

With both London clubs on show at The Valley among City’s next six opponents, the capital derby offered an obvious opportunity for Pearce to check out their form, as well as Malbranque’s.
