Tough task ahead for Harps
Finn Harps face a must-win game tonight in their relegation battle when they taken on a Cork City side looking to return to the top of the table.
With Waterford United beating UCD last night, Harps are now five points adrift at the bottom and, with just six games remaining, need to close the gap tonight if they are to maintain any realistic chance of avoiding relegation.
But the clash is also one of Cork’s two games in hand over top-of-the-table Derry City and a victory tonight will put them top on goal difference.
Harps are at full strength with player-manager Anthony Gorman back from suspension, while Stephen Capper should overcome a knock.
Cork, meanwhile, are without Neal Fenn and Joe Gamble (both ankle) while John O’Flynn is doubtful with a groin problem.
