Bayern lose top spot

Bayern Munich slipped from the top of the table after a last-gasp penalty from Schalke’s Soren Larsen held the defending champions to a 1-1 draw.

A 19th-minute goal from Roque Santa Cruz had given Bayern a deserved lead before Schalke’s pressure eventually told with Bastian Schweinsteiger bundling over Larsen.
