Fenlon suspended for four more matches
Shelbourne manager Pat Fenlon has been suspended for a further four matches and fined €1,000 after breaching the terms of his recent touchline ban.
It is Fenlon's third touchline ban of the season, having previously being banned after being ordered from the dug out in May against Longford - leading to a three-game ban - and then being sent off again against Drogheda in August leading to a four-game ban.
He picked up his latest ban when he confronted referee Ian Stokes immediately after Shelbourne's 2-1 loss to Derry City two weeks ago on the pitch.
However, under the terms of his touchline ban, Fenlon was not allowed on the pitch or anywhere near the dressing room area or dugout before, during or after the game.
The transgression was reported to the eircom League, who handed down the lengthy ban.
