Bohemians have denied rumours that they have had their bank account frozen due to a finanical crisis at the club.

The club is currently heavily in debt and recently lost striker Dominic Foley who had his contract cancelled because a large bonus payment had not been paid.

However, club secretary Gerry Cuffe has claimed that rumours that their bank account had been frozen are completely untrue. “We are at a delicate stage of negotiations with the Revenue, but our accounts have certainly not been frozen,” stressed Cuffe.
