Benitez backing Crouch

Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez has leapt to the defence of striker Peter Crouch and is backing the 6ft 7ins forward to break his scoring duck and prove the doubters wrong.

Crouch has come under sustained criticism following his England and Liverpool displays which have failed to produce a goal this season.
