Lisbie recalled to Charlton
Charlton have recalled Kevin Lisbie from his loan period at Norwich as Addicks boss Alan Curbishley faces injuries to a number of his strikers.
Lisbie’s month-long loan deal at Carrow Road was set to expire this week but Canaries boss Nigel Worthington had hoped to extend the deal in the wake of injuries to Leon McKenzie, Peter Thorne and Dean Ashton.
Norwich assistant manager Doug Livermore told the club website, www.canaries.co.uk: “We would very much like to have kept Kevin longer, but at the same time we understand and respect Charlton’s position.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Kevin for his time here and also Charlton for allowing him to join on loan in the first place.”
Lisbie has scored one goal in his four starts and two substitute appearances for Norwich.
