Beattie back

James Beattie returns to the Everton squad for the UEFA Cup match against Dinamo Bucharest at Goodison Park tomorrow.

The 27-year-old striker, back in training following a nagging toe injury, is expected to be on the bench for the second-leg clash.

Midfielder Simon Davies is doubtful because of an ankle injury as Everton attempt to overcome a 5-1 deficit. Meanwhile manager David Moyes revealed midfielder Lee Carsley is facing surgery to correct a knee injury.
