Novo blow for Rangers

Rangers striker Nacho Novo has been ruled out of the Champions League game against Inter Milan with an ankle injury.

The 26-year-old Spaniard limped out of the Bank of Scotland Premier League defeat at Hearts in the 20th minute and will miss the Group H game at the San Siro Stadium on Wednesday.

Manager Alex McLeish told the club’s official website, www.rangers.co.uk: “Losing Nacho was really disappointing because we felt he could get in behind Hearts and cause them trouble.

“He is out of the Inter game now and that is another disappointment.”
