Cork slipped to defeat in their UEFA Cup first round first leg match in the Czech Republic tonight.

Two second-half goals mean the Eircom League leaders have plenty to do in the second leg at Turner’s Cross on September 29.

Slavia Prague’s goals came from Tomas Hrdlicka, just past the hour mark, and Karel Pitak – 12 minutes from time.
