Beattie out for Everton

Everton striker James Beattie has been ruled out of the UEFA Cup tie against Dinamo Bucharest.

Beattie, who had been nursing a toe injury, had a 45-minute run-out for the reserves last night but suffered a reaction after coming off the bench in the defeat by Portsmouth at the weekend.

Former Manchester United midfielder Phil Neville is available after missing the game through suspension.
