Beattie in contention

Everton striker James Beattie could return to the starting line-up against Dinamo Bucharest in the UEFA Cup following a toe injury.

Beattie had a 45-minute run-out for the reserves on Tuesday after coming off the bench in the defeat by Portsmouth at the weekend.

Former Manchester United midfielder Phil Neville is available after missing the game through suspension.
