Shelbourne chief executive Ollie Byrne has received a one-month ban from attending eircom League matches and a €2,000 fine.

Byrne received the ban from an eircom League disciplinary committee after his altercation with Drogheda United PRO Terry Collins during the 3-3 draw between the clubs during August.

Byrne’s ban means that he is unable to be in an eircom League ground for one hour before, during and for one hour after all matches.
