Harps snap up returning striker Gethins

Finn Harps have signed former Ross County and former Ireland Under 20 attacker Conor Gethins on a short-term contract.

21-year-old Gethins, a native of Lifford, moved to Scotland with Ross County when aged 17 and was a regular in Brian Kerr’s youth sides, though persistent hamstring injuries hampered his progress.

Gethins is Harps’ manager Anthony Gorman’s first signing and the manager was delighted to add him to the squad.

"Conor gives us more options up front, as we were limited in that department with just Kevin McHugh and Chris Breen in the squad. Conor has spent four years in Scotland and looked sharp in training with the rest of the squad this morning,” said Gorman.
