Bray scrape past Orchard

Stephen Fox finally broke Cherry Orchard’s resolve with a 76th minute winner to ease Bray through to the quarter finals.

Romanian Andrei Georgescu’s shot came back off the bar and Fox scooped home the rebound.

Orchard frustrated Bray in the first half.

Apart from a good save from Colm James by keeper Thomas Murphy, Orchard had marginally the better of the opening 45 minutes as Bray struggled to stamp their authority on the match.
