Sorensen sticks with Villa

Aston Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has signed a new three-year contract which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2008.

The 29-year-old, who was in the final season of his current deal, joined Villa from Sunderland in a £2m deal two years ago.
