Blackburn defender Andy Todd has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association following an incident during his side’s Premiership match with Tottenham on Wednesday.

Blackburn defender Andy Todd has been charged with violent conduct by the Football Association following an incident during his side’s Premiership match with Tottenham on Wednesday.

Todd was involved in an off-the-ball altercation with Andy Reid which left the Spurs winger on the ground but was missed by referee Dermot Gallagher.

The Rovers player has until Tuesday to accept the mandatory three-match ban, or a disciplinary panel will consider video evidence.
