Students look to teach Shels a lesson

Shelbourne and UCD go head-to-head in the eircom League Cup semi-final tonight at Tolka Park with silverware in both club’s sights.

With a possible Setanta Cup place up for grabs to the winner of the competition, the League Cup is more valuable than last season, though both sides insist the fact the game is a semi-final is all the motivation they need.

Shelbourne will be at full strength with Gary O’Neill, Glen Fitzpatrick and Jim Crawford back in training while UCD will keep faith with a mixture of fringe first team players and Under 21 players that has seen them reach this stage of the competition.
