Hearts return to top of SPL

Hearts convincingly overcame Aberdeen to maintain their perfect start in the SPL with goals either side of the interval from Rudi Skacel and Michal Pospisil.

George Burley’s side lead the league by three points and are yet to drop a point, but it wasn’t until Pospisil added a second four minutes from time that the points were secure.

Skacel fired the hosts into the lead in the 32nd minute after picking up a loose ball in the box to set the table-topping Edinburgh side on their way.
