Baggies bag win over Pompey

Geoff Horsfield struck at the double to sink poor Portsmouth and extend West Brom’s unbeaten run at The Hawthorns.

Horsfield headed his side into a second-minute lead and increased the Baggies’ lead with a low shot which beat Sander Westerveld and trickled home in the 59th minute.

Laurent Robert reduced the deficit with a 59th-minute free-kick but Giannis Skopelitis missed a golden chance to equalise in the final minute.
