Dunne poised for City return

Richard Dunne is set to return to the Manchester City defence for their Barclays Premiership trip to Birmingham tomorrow.

Dunne played 45 minutes of the Republic of Ireland’s friendly defeat to Italy on Wednesday night and appears to have shaken off the foot injury which dogged his pre-season.
