King excited as Davids deal nears completion

Tottenham head coach Martin Jol is convinced Edgar Davids will be playing for the club next season as Spurs look to agree personal terms with the Dutch star.

Jol’s conviction is shared by club captain and England centre-half Ledley King, who today revealed that Davids had already spoken to the current Spurs squad after completing two parts of an in-depth medical in London.
